Sean Brennan is a professor of mechanical engineering and leads research in system dynamics and control, focusing on areas of vehicle chassis behavior, mechatronics, and embedded systems. Brennan’s research focuses on mechatronics, autonomous and human-assisted driving of passenger vehicles at highway speeds, vehicle stability, and control, and automation with MEMS. His research group primarily focuses on wheeled vehicles - tractor-trailers, passenger vehicles, agricultural vehicles, bomb-disposal robotics, wheelchairs, planetary rovers, and even nuclear cask inspection robots.
