Moriah Szpara is an associate professor of biology and biochemistry and molecular biology and specializes in viruses, genomics, central nervous system diseases, and neurons. Spzara’s lab studies how genetic variation influences the outcomes of long-term chronic viral infections on the nervous system, and her research is centered around herpes viruses.
