Penn State updates University facts and figures on a regular basis. The Penn State Fact Book provides statistics related to enrollment, employment, budget and finance and alumni.

Are stock photographs or other images of Penn State available for members of the media?

Campus Visit FAQs

Am I allowed to take pictures and record video on campus?

Penn State is a public University so photos and video are permitted in the public portions of the University. Filming in classrooms or dormitories requires advance permission.

Is there public Wi-Fi on campus?

Yes, there is Wi-Fi throughout campus under “ATTWiFi”.

Is there a campus map?

Yes, there is an interactive, mobile-friendly map at map.psu.edu.

Where can I park when visiting campus?

As visitors to campus, media members are required to follow all parking rules and regulations set forth by the University. Vehicles must be parked within all lines of a legal, non-reserved parking space at all times. Parking on roadways, sidewalks, grass or any areas not designated for parking is prohibited. Single-day visitor parking permits may be obtained at the Parking Office, the Centre County/Penn State Visitor Center or at any Parking Information kiosk.
